This course is designed using the 4 key phrases of auditing based on the ISO 19011:2018 guidelines standard for auditing management systems. ISO 19011:2018 is applicable to all organisations who need to conduct internal or external audits of management systems or manage an audit programme.

Who should attend the Supplier Auditor Course?
- Auditors currently conducting internal and/or supplier auditing, who wish to improve their knowledge, skills and auditing approach.
What will delegates learn on the Supplier Auditor Course?
- The theory of auditing – audit scope, criteria, objectives
- Management systems theory – PDCA, concepts of ISO 9001, Quality management principles
- Preparing for an audit – audit programme, plan and checklists
- Performing the audit – conducting a live simulated audit including gathering information, communication with the supplier, interviewing skills, holding an opening meeting, gathering evidence of capability and performance
- Reporting the audit – audit report, non-conformities, closing meeting, providing audit feedback to the supplier of audit findings
- Revisiting the audit – audit follow-up activities

What is the format of the course?
- A combination of tutor led sessions interspersed with individual and team-based exercises (approx 25% theory and 75% practical).
- This highly interactive course includes extensive use of a case study to enable skills to be developed

- Delegates will be assessed on their participation and general performance during the course, including any interactive exercises, activities and case studies.
- There will be a short test on the final day
- 100% attendance is required
