Audit Mentoring
Are you in a team of newly qualified auditors, who would benefit from extra support during your first audit? Or perhaps you’re an experienced auditor but haven’t conducted an audit for a while?
A Batalas auditing expert can visit your workplace and observe your team as they conduct an internal audit on part of your ISO/AS Management System. We will tell you what is going well and make recommendations for any improvements.

- Anyone who is an internal or lead auditor with an auditor qualification
- Any newly qualified auditors who want extra support during their first internal audit to build confidence.
- Existing auditors (perhaps as part of a new audit team) who haven’t audited for some time and would benefit from extra support.
- Any auditor who is involved in the implementation or maintenance of a new ISO management system and requires extra support.
- Suitable for auditors working with management systems in the following Standards – ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2015 EMS, ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 ISMS, ISO 13485:2016, AS9100:2016 Rev D.
An added benefit is that this audit support will count towards your auditing and competence records, which are requirements of all ISO Management Systems Standards.
This audit mentoring works perfectly alongside our Internal Auditor training courses; allowing your team to apply their new skills in a live audit situation with the added support of an ISO expert observing them. This support can be scheduled immediately after an Internal Auditor course, or as a standalone booking for your team at a later date.
One of our ISO experts will speak with you to assess your needs and check that the audit mentoring is the correct level of support for your auditing team. Once confirmed, we’ll arrange to visit your workplace on a date and time to suit you.
We’ll observe your team as they conduct a live audit of part of an ISO or AS management system. To conduct the mentoring session, we will require access to your ISO/AS management system and documentation, i.e. business manual, policies, records, previous audit reports, etc…
Following the mentoring session, we will provide a report detailing recommendations for any improvements, which can be used by your team when conducting future audits; providing bespoke feedback and support will help ensure your auditing team is more confident when conducting future audits. We can also offer guidance on the audit program in terms of it’s construction, development and maintenance.
