An update to AS9100 was introduced in September 2016, this revision (Rev D) encompasses ISO 9001:2015 and adds the QMS requirements for aerospace and defence industries. Companies have until September 15th 2018 to transition to the new standard.
We are now 9 months into the transition and are fast approaching an important deadline. From June 15th 2017 companies who require new audit certification need to do this against the new 2016 standard.

It’s important to remember that certification bodies and external auditors will be in high demand the closer we get to the September 2018 deadline, this could result in availability problems for some companies. Ensure you don’t get left behind by beginning your transition journey today.
