ISO 14001:2015 requires that personnel are “competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, or experience.” This ISO 14001 Foundation course equips delegates with the key knowledge of ISO 14001:2015, allowing their organisation to effectively manage an EMS (Environmental Management System).

What is the format of the course?
- Our Virtual and Classroom courses combine tutor-led lessons with interactive activities and exercises (approx. 25% theory and 75% practical).
- The Online version of this course consists of 10 training modules, which include lessons in the form of presentations, videos, animations, engaging activities, and quizzes. At approx. 40 minutes each, the bite-size modules can easily be completed around other commitments.
After booking the online course, joining instructions are sent via email – these will include unique log-in details along with links to the Digital Learning Portal – learning can then begin! Delegates have 30 days to complete the online course, access ends upon completion.

What is the course assessment?
- Delegates attending Virtual and Classroom courses will be assessed on their participation and general performance during the course, including any interactive exercises and activities.
- Delegates learning via the Online course will have knowledge checks through quizzes throughout the course.
- 100% course attendance is required for this ISO 14001 Foundation course (as per CQI and IRCA rules).
