Who should attend this AS9100 Lead Auditor course?
- Any new or existing auditors that wish to be able to conduct 1st party (internal) and 2nd party (supplier) audits that conform to AS9100:2016 Rev D, plus 3rd party (external) audits of a quality management system (QMS) that conforms to ISO 9001 for the aerospace industry.

- Managers or staff who need to identify gaps in the effectiveness of an AS9100 management system, helping them to remain compliant.
- This course satisfies the training requirement for anyone wishing to register as an Auditor with IRCA (International Register of Certified Auditors)
Anyone attending this Aerospace Lead Auditor course must have existing knowledge of AS9100:2016 Rev D. It is highly recommended that delegates attend our AS9100 Foundation course beforehand to gain this knowledge. Anyone with existing knowledge of the Standard can take our AS9100 quiz to check if this is sufficient.

What is the course format?
- This AS9100D Lead Auditor training course uses a combination of informative tutor-led sessions alongside individual and team-based activities (approx. 25% theory and 75% practical).
- A case study is used extensively throughout the course to assist with skills development.
We offer the option for delegates to attend this AS9100 lead auditor course online via a live virtual classroom or in a more traditional classroom setting at one of our UK venues. Alternatively, for teams of four or more people, we can deliver training in-house at your workplace.

What is the course assessment?
- Delegates will be assessed on their participation and general performance during the course, including any interactive exercises, activities, case studies and audit simulation.
- 100% course attendance is required (a CQI and IRCA rule)
- There will be a 2-hour written AS9100 Lead Auditor exam on the final day of training. If the course is conducted via a virtual classroom, the exam is taken remotely – a webcam, microphone and speakers are required.

- After completing the course assessment and AS9100 Lead Auditor exam, a CQI IRCA certificate will be provided.
