This highly practical AS9100 Internal Auditor course teaches delegates the knowledge and skills required to conduct an internal audit of (part of) a Quality Management System (QMS) against AS9100:2016 Rev D for the Aviation, Defence and Space industry (Aerospace).

As per CQI and IRCA requirements, this AS9100 Internal Auditor training course teaches the following knowledge and skills –

- Role and responsibilities of an AS9100 Internal Auditor
- Planning and preparing for internal audits
- Auditing skills (including interviewing skills) and audit process
- Checklist development
- Reporting audit findings
- Reviewing a previous audit and verifying corrective action
AS9100:2016 Rev D requires that personnel are competent – this course provides essential skills and knowledge to help delegates become fully competent auditors.
Organisations with certification to multiple ISO Standards may benefit from running an Integrated Management System; in this instance, an IMS Internal Auditor Course may be more suitable.

What is the format of the course?
- The tutor will use educational lessons alongside engaging exercises and team-based activities (approx 25% theory and 75% practical).
- Extensive use of a case study is used throughout the course to enable skills to be developed.

What is the course assessment?
- Course attendees will be assessed on their overall participation throughout the course and during the interactive exercises.
- On the final day of the course, there is a short multiple-choice test.
- To pass this course, delegates must have 100% attendance (in accordance with CQI and IRCA rules).

- A CQI IRCA certificate will be supplied following completion of the AS9100 Internal Auditor training course.
