About you
I am the Resource and Development Manager at Brymor Construction, I have worked for the company since December 2013 and dealt with the companies training since May 2014.
In my role I have ultimate control of all employee’s development, this is from mandatory health and safety training, soft skills and management training, academic studies, apprentices and individual training plans.
About your company
Established since 1987, Brymor are one of the largest independent Construction companies in the UK working across a broad range of sectors.
Currently employing over 150 members of staff, with our head office situated in Denmead, Hampshire.
About the course
Following from the introduction of the new data protection legislation in May 2018 it was important that all of our employees had an awareness of the legislation and its impact on their role.
Online training was perfect for the nature of our company, easily accessible to both site and office-based staff with the ability to schedule the course around their workload.
About experience
As a company we found the system easy to use, the e-learning was simple to follow given the complexity of the subject and we had no problems with employees completing the course.
About Batalas
Brymor used Batalas for both our HR and IT teams to attend the GDPR one day introduction course when we were first made aware the regulations where to be introduced in May 2018, the information was informative and well delivered, therefore we thought Batalas would be ideal choice for the e-learning.
As a company Batalas have provided excellent customer services and always been helpful. As a company we would have preferred to manage our own platform.
About the future
We will continue to roll our GDPR e-learning to all our new employees, providing consistent information across our company.
