GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation
On 25th May 2018 all UK (and EU) companies will need to be compliant with GDPR, the new replacement for the Data Protection Act
No matter the size and shape of your organisation – if you hold personal data (name, addresses, order info etc.) you need to comply.
Failure to comply can lead to a potential fine of €10million or 2% of (annual worldwide) turnover!
If you have a data breach you can be fined upto €20million or 4% of (annual worldwide) turnover!
