ISO 14001 : 2004 is the International Standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

The ISO 14001 standard specifies requirements for organizations who wish to achieve sound environmental performance by controlling the impact of their activities, products or services on the environment by implementing an environmental management system.

An EMS helps an organization understand and describe its environmental performance and then helps it improve it.

How do I implement ISO 14001 : 2004?

There are 3 main ways in which you could implement the standard:

• Small Business Scheme - this is a scheme setup by Batalas to help Small Businesses gain registration.
